SWAS – Steam-water sampling and analysis system :
Customized, pre-engineered and designed skid-mounted system which is used to simplify the conditioning and analysis of steam, water and/or non-hazardous process samples. These custom engineered systems consists of sample conditioning panel and analysers panel, complying international standards i.e. ASME, ASTM, EPRI, VGB. They are supplied either as stand-alone rack or in customized walk-in-shelters (containers) as per request.

Why is Steam-Water Sampling and Analysis System necessary?
In any power plant running on steam, the purity of boiler feed water and steam is absolutely crucial; especially to steam turbine, steam boiler, super heater, condenser and other steam equipment. The critical parameters such as pH, Conductivity, Dissolved Oxygen, Silica, Sodium, Phosphate etc. must be measured.
– To prevent damage of steam turbine, steam boiler and other apparatus due to scaling and corrosion
– To keep the power plant up and running, with minimum erosion and corrosion of steam turbine, steam boiler and condenser, and to protect these equipments
– To prevent freezing of the water in the system
– To increase the boiling point of the water in the system
– To inhibit the growth of mould and bacteria
– To allow improved leak detection

CDS – Chemical Dosing Systems
Chemical conditioning of feed water – steam – condensate cycle, is essential to prevent corrosion and scale formation.

A well-designed system should be:
– very compact
– save space
– be convenient for plant installation as well as plant operation
– advanced automation&control features can be incorporated into the systems, i.e auto-control & data logging, through plant interface

These skids typically consist of:
– Storage tanks or solution preparation tanks with or without mixers
– Interconnecting piping & fittings
– Valves
– Instrumentation for level, flow, pressure
– Control Panels/ Control Systems

Oxygen scavenger dosing skid
Ammonia dosing skid
Phosphate dosing skid
Corrosion inhibitor dosing skid
Propylene glycol dosing skid (optional)
